We’ll be lacing up our running shoes this Saturday for the annual Alaska Run for Women in Anchorage! For the 12th year, Anchorage and Valley Radiation Therapy Center are proud to be a Pink Diamond sponsor of the race, manning the Mile One water station, also known as the music mile, where you can dance your way to hydration.
Every year, thousands of Alaskans unite for the race, all supporting a common goal: ending breast cancer. Last year, $220,000 raised at the race was donated to breast cancer research, education and prevention. Check out the wonderful organizations supported by the race last year.
Keep an eye out for the AVRTC team at the race! We’ll be cheering (and dancing) you on at the Mile One water station at the corner of 9th Ave. and E St. Thank you for participating and helping us keep breast cancer on the run!
